The Mercy Lounge / Cannery Ballroom live music venues are housed inside the historic Cannery Building, located in Nashville, TN. The Mercy Lounge first opened its doors to the public in 2003, and boasts a standing room capacity of 500, as well as booth seating, pool tables, and a state of the art sound system. The smaller Mercy Lounge is ideally suited to up-and-coming acts, or those already-established acts looking for a more intimate setting in which to put on an up-close-and-personal gig for their fans. For those acts lucky to secure a spot on the Mercy Lounge schedule, a loft-style hospitality suite is available, along with various production and lighting options. Then, in 2005, the Cannery Ballroom opened. This larger, big brother club offers a capacity of 1000 and is better equipped to host larger, national acts. And neither venue is a stranger to the big names.
